We have all been impacted by the current pandemic Covid-19, it is with this in mind we have customised a platform to bring the plays you longed for into the comfort of our viewers homes.‘Once a man Twice a Wife’ is written by Basil Dawkins and directed by TK Dawkins with original stage directions by Douglas Prout.

The cast featuring Karen Harriott, Earl Brown and Patricia Morris are experienced and well known Jamaican actors. There will be five stagings on the following dates: April 3rd, 17th, 24th and 25th, 2021.

as Mrs. Abigaile Steele

One of Jamaica’s respected actors of TV and stage. She is probably best known as “Tiney Winey” on the television series Royal Palm Estate and she most recently appeared as Beverly in Dhalia Harris’ Ring Games 2, a Jamaican TV series. Her memorable stage roles include Basil Dawkins’ Forbidden, David Heron’s 4 Play, Love and Marriage in New York City and Redemption. 

In addition to her onstage work, Karen has been working for the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission as a Senor Adjudicator and Trainer of The Performing Arts for the past 18 years. She is in the final stages of her Ph.D Dissertation in Cultural Studies at The University of the West Indies
Karen is committed to youth development in the performing arts and dedicates much of her time as Assistant Chief Commissioner of the Scout Association of Jamaica. 
EARLE BROWN

EARLE BROWN

as Byron Steele

A bass/ baritone singer of renown for twenty-four years with The National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica, Earle found drama a viable means of transitioning from singing to his second love, acting, after retiring from the NDTC in 2016.
His first big acting break came in 1978 when he understudied leading Jamaican actor, Oliver Samuels in Ginger Knight’s hit comedy Underwriter’s Undercover. In between a demanding singing career, Earle worked in Louis Marriott’s Bedward, Lovey and Last of the Jokers; in Jambiz International’s Amen Corner and Patrick Brown’s Puppy Love. 
 
Once A Man Twice A Wife is Earle’s fifth outing with Basil Dawkins’ Productions, having appeared in Forbidden, Pressure Drop, Uptown Bangarang and Maas Mat Comes To Town. He also just completed the second season of Dhalia Harris’ television series Ring Games.
Patricia Morris

Teacher by day, Actress and Stage Manager by night, Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama in Education from the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.
She has enjoyed 13 years of being involved in Theatre. She has stage managed Trevor Rhone’s Positive, Renae Garel’s Mek Wi Laugh, David Tulloch’s Prayer Partner, Tanya Baston-Savage’s Woman Tongue, Ricky Rowe’s 4 Bullas and a Patty, Angela Jarett’s Something Fishy and Face The Truth. She has acted in Gay Magnu’s short film, One Patty which has recently been shown at the Johannesburg Short Film Festival. 
Patricia teaches Drama and Health and Family Life Education at Immaculate Conception High School fof the past 5 years and recently added Theatre Arts to the list.
